Figuring Out Buyer Behavior

While working at the golf course it was really easy to find people who had the same unmet need/ problem. From the three people i talked to about reading greens they usually ask who they are playing with whether that's a friend or family member. Also all three said that they practice reading greens on the putting green we have before they go out to familiar themselves with how fast the greens are rolling on that specific day. Also one of the guys i interviewed said he watches a lot of YouTube on how to read putts. A different guy says he tried to make his own course book for our course with all the slopes on the greens but it hasn't helped his game at all.

  1. Andrew, I think that your business plan is a wise idea for golfers today. Many golfers are familiar with reading a green but some may still struggle at certain courses or even for beginners in middle school or high school. I believe that it could be very useful! I'm sure my dad would even use it since he golfs 4 days a week. Good post!

  2. Andrew, I think with a mirical app like this, you wouldn't have a problem selling it since it would make good news for Golf, Golf Digest or Golf Week. I also think that if there was a way to certify courses were on the app, it would be beneficial for your company and the course to mutually recognize the app works there. Courses would also be able to book more people by promoting the use of the app as it would speed up the pace of play.
